My final project at the Davis Political Review was editing our print publication (the rest of the 2021 edition is viewable at https://www.davispoliticalreview.com/print).
Here's a personal interview re: my time at VentureBeat.
I've loved moderating panels for organizations like Fashinnovation over the past few years on topics from sustainability in fashion to empowering women-led businesses, publicly interviewing executives from Mastercard, Avast, Stack Overflow, Techstars, and Mozilla for up to 25,000 live attendees.
P.S. I used to work in marketing and enjoy breaking down technical topics like open source software!

About Me

Hello! My name is Manasa (pronounced MON-is-suh). I'm a journalist and storyteller with a deep interest in technology. I just graduated from the University of Oxford with a master's degree in Social Anthropology.

Before grad school, I spent one year working as a technology reporterĀ for VentureBeat and one year as Editor-in-Chief of the Davis Political Review. I completed my undergrad at UC Davis (go Aggies!) and graduatedĀ Summa cum laude in International Relations in 2021. I'm currently diving back into my journalistic roots and actively exploring opportunities worldwide.

In my free time, I love running (I'm training for a half-marathon in November!) and scavenging bookstores for the latest in contemporary fiction.
